CarbonForm, the Italian network for press technology

A collaboration born from a bet: the conversion of a plant that previously printed metal and is now able to produce carbon fiber parts

An agreement between companies called "CarbonForm". Yesterday, in the office of notary Roberto Lauro, in the Italian municipality of Giulianova (Teramo), ACS (Advanced Composites Solutions) Srl, signed with two other companies from Abruzzo region, SUSTA Srl and U.Form Srl, the network contract for the development of press forming technologies with the use of composite materials.

A collaboration born from a bet: the conversion of a plant that previously printed metal and is now able to produce carbon fiber parts in the new production unit of Villa Zaccheo, in the municipality of Castellalto, province of Teramo, a stone's throw away from the A14 motorway.

This collaboration gives rise to the possibility of mass-producing, in particular for the automotive sector, a much higher number of parts compared to traditional composite molding technologies with autoclave.
