ACS (Advanced Composites Solutions) - manufacturer of parts in composite materials for automotive, nautical, aerospace and owner of various brands in the composite sector - was selected among the 144 Italian "Winning Companies" of the homonymous enhancement program of Intesa Sanpaolo bank and the project partners Bain & Company, ELITE and Gambero Rosso and, from this year, Cerved and Microsoft Italia.
The "Winning Companies" of the 2020 edition have been identified on the basis of the success factors that 'made them champions' of their territory, with particular attention to the social impact and the ability to generate value in terms of sustainability, innovation, investments in their own human capital, ability to plan the generational transition, internationalization, link with the territory and with its production chains. A group of companies capable of expressing an average growth in turnover of 18% before Covid, an employee growth of 20% and a ROE (which is an economic index on the profitability of equity) which stands at 34% on the media. Moreover, they are companies that are also making efforts in this difficult phase to operate on the market and adapt their business models.
The story of ACS, founded in 2014 by the engineer Roberto Catenaro (who is also its CEO), was told - along with eleven other experiences - during the italian digital tour which, after Milan, Florence , Turin, Naples, Padua, Brescia, Bari, Bologna and Bergamo, has virtually reached the capital Rome and will continue to cross the entire country, in 12 stages dedicated to the stories of companies and territories.
"Our winning weapons? A young team with previous and specific experiences in the sector, but also the ability to adapt to customer requests and to invest in new technologies", commented Catenaro in an interview with Radio 24, the radio of Sole 24 Ore italian newspaper.
